I’m not a theatre geek, but every day I wait for the think piece on why American critics hate the revival of Cabaret, which has been huge here. I think it’s maybe one of the best things I’ve ever seen, everyone cried, and that’s a pretty widely held opinion here— it’s been huge.

There is more to say, but for now let me tell you how proud I am of our Columbia Journalism students, whom I've watched report non-stop for days, sleep on floors, support one another & give their all to bearing witness under dire conditions: pulitzer.org/news/statement… The Pulitzer Prizes

This week, I got to do something that journalists are not always given the opportunity to do after they publish stories: return to the community they spent months reporting at to distribute the story in person. 🧵

This was a fantastic session featuring some truly spectacular investigations (and beloved OCJN members and alum but that’s just a bonus!)

This was so good!!! I also love when journalists have a great idea they persist with for years… and then it finally comes together!

I've been wanting to do this story for years and am thrilled it's finally out: inside the surprisingly small, highly specialized industry that repairs the internet cables on the bottom of the ocean theverge.com/c/24070570/int…

'Do you think Andrew Bailey should still be Governor of the Bank of England?'
'No.'

Liz Truss calls on Andrew Bailey to resign, telling Iain Dale ⚒️🇺🇦.🇮🇱. 'big mistakes' were made with 'monetary policy' and there should be a 'proper investigation' into what happened in September 2022.

We have to cover something that's shaping our audiences lives. So how do we actually do it well??

Thanks Dickon for having me on to talk about the work of the OCJN at the Reuters Institute. (By the way I often say that the OCJN could work for other industries, too . . . )
