I am reading that the Pride of Britain awards by the The Mirror in partnership with TSB has been "won" by Margaret Walker being credited as someone who "founded" Makaton. This is a total insult to Deaf people, is cultural appropriation, etc. Thread. #PrideOfBritainAwards
