Delighted to have completed my thesis defence yesterday after handing up my paper earlier this month. It was a nice way to finish my 4 years at ATU Galway City as I got the opportunity to discuss my research project. Huge thanks to my supervisor Fiona Kavanagh for all her help!

I’ve just finshed my first week as a research assistant at Atlantic Technological University ATU MFRC where I’ve been looking at microplastics in coastal sediments 🔬 I’ve also got to meet some amazing Masters and PhD students who I’m learning a lot from! #research #marinescience #microplastics

We really enjoyed listening in to the online talks for Sharks International last week! Here are some of our highlights…

Just got an amazing opportunity to interview Women in Ocean Science, Minorities in Shark Sciences (MISS) and Love The Oceans today talking about shark/ray research, the challenge elasmobranchs face today & women in ocean science. Keep an eye on The Ray Project for the interviews & thanks girls for your time!
