It can be so hard to make friends with other photographers. Everyone seems worried about protecting their process, not sharing contacts or info, etc. I'm secure and don't need any of that - it's just cool to have people who share your interests and you can be open/creative with!

that’s where photographers come in 📸 bands need more content, not just live shots! and hiring a photographer doesn’t mean getting photos of your band taken. it means album artwork, backgrounds, playlist covers!

I think the best advice I can give an aspiring music photographer is to smart small and local. Learn how to master shooting in small dive bars with NO light and learn how to make yourself a fly on the wall in tiny green rooms. This is how I learned to shoot and I'm so thankful!

I love when my eyes tear up as I photograph my favorite artists. I just think of how my younger self had no hope for the future and I’m proving to him that he deserves the world through capturing the people who’s music helped him growing up.

On my second morning w ADHD meds, I looked at the spoiled food in the fridge. It has been there for weeks. It is growing mold; I see the patches every time I open the fridge. Today I said, "huh, that shouldn't be there. I will throw it out today." AND CHOIRS OF ANGELS REJOICED
