This morning we learned some facts about the ancient Egyptians, then had a go at making our own pyramids and mummies. We cracked a code to write our names in hieroglyphics! Greenways Primary Miss Wright

Olive made honey cakes this morning, following the recipe and doing all the measuring and weighing of ingredients Greenways Primary Miss Wright

Very proud of Olive today, she does not enjoy writing at home and she struggles to sit down and concentrate. But today we wrote a story together, passing the page back and forth and she was much more engaged. Then a game of hopscotch to celebrate!

Olive enjoyed the bucket filling story, and has been writing notes to fill other people’s buckets. She has also started to fill a bucket with things that make her happy. (Sleepovers, Snaley and a Fairy) ‘Snaily’ is a friend she found in the garden 🐌 Greenways Primary Miss Wright

Yesterday we took advantage of the sun and used photo sensitive paper, making some pictures. After leaving the paper in the sun for 5 minutes, we then submerged in water and watched the shapes develop. A really lovely activity with fantastic results! Greenways Primary Miss Wright
