I am listening to the space discussing bitcoin and kaspa. Bitcoiners lack the technical but have over the years solidified a narrative. A flawed narrative that fits them but a narrative nevertheless. Kaspa people win on the technical part, but lack the narrative.

Adam Back moose.kas 𐤊 Themooseisloose Y.Stan 𐤊τ Quite simply, if you need a hard fork to adopt Kaspa tech, and that tech breaks your consensus model… then you’re not upgrading, you’re leaving Bitcoin behind... ...and in doing so, you break nearly everything Bitcoin Core is built on. Bitcoin can’t just fork into Kaspa’s

Adam Back moose.kas 𐤊 Themooseisloose Y.Stan 𐤊τ NakaSompo It’s almost ironic to reduce the future of financial innovation to a network frozen in 2009. Claiming that “any useful tech can be adopted by importing the UTXO set” ignores Bitcoin’s inherently conservative nature. Even minor upgrades like SegWit or Taproot took years of debate

There are very few discussions on centralization of the miner manufacturing industry. This is a choke point to both bitcoin and kaspa. What are your thoughts?

Bitcoin can handle 20m txs per month. This means that it can accomondate only 20mil people that put part of their monthly salary on their L1 non custodial wallet. If more people want to join, they would need to keep their money on custodial wallets and self custody more rarely.

DROTHER - Bitcoiner - Runs DATUM/Knots #NoCoreV30 Breadman Free Your Grind I totally agree, bitcoin is an alternative for fedwire. So bitcoin L1 will be dominated by institutions. So I don't own bitcoin, but bitcoin IOU from my bank. And the bank will probably think that there is almost zero chance that all its clients withdraw the same time their

HeartyJames Anais | ₿TC Your contradict yourself by making the bitcoin counterarguments (1) and (2). On the one hand you imply that some transactions don't need to be on L1 (why?) and on the other hand you want a ledger that holds all L1 transactions until eternity (again why?)

A suggestion to fellow bitcoiners who keep saying how great lightningis: all wallets on L1 open a lightning channel with a peer, lock all your funds there, transact only on lightning and abandon L1 for ever (no need to even settle on L1). No tps limitations, no security budget

Dear crypto, It starts and ends with txn ordering. I’ve been digging/researching for a few years now into how to build a universal scheduler of txns, one that isn’t confined to real-time sequencing but lets users pre-commit arbitrary conditional txn logic baked on chain / into
