This is the SHORTEST COVID testing site line we’ve seen in weeks. Eight cars in line and hardly a wait. WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary is one of the newest state-run testing sites added to keep up with demand. WRAL NEWS in NC

5:08a: We're watching for icy spots this morning on WRAL NEWS in NC -- mostly along and north of the I-85 corridor, but also perhaps in parts of Chatham Co. @BrettKneseTV saw some icy spots on the #Durham Fwy, esp around ramps. Kasey Cunningham spotted some on 501 btwn Dur and Roxboro.

Good morning! Still seeing lots of snow and ice in Roxboro, especially on side streets and parking lots. Main roads are mostly clear. WRAL NEWS in NC

Heartbreaking to watch local news in my hometown of #Philadelphia. Violent crime is out of control. 31 homicides in 2022. Yet another carjacking this AM…this time in the heart of Center City. “No matter where you are, you are not safe in this town anymore,” says Steve Keeley

Joining the chorus of journalists and former TV journalists who say NO MORE MMJ/SOLO LIVE SHOTS. It’s too dangerous. It’s well past time for the industry to realize that. Relieved to hear that Tori Yorgey WBAL is OK.

Good morning!!! Starting early this morning in the Stormtracker - already there are salt trucks on the road. Roads are wet from the rain but not slick. The trucks have been dropping salt over bridges across 40. WRAL NEWS in NC

First an ambulance off the road on 87, now a tractor trailer off the road on 40. Crews are still blocking off 40 E by the Wade Ave Exit. Bridges continue to be the trouble spots out here this morning. @wral Brian Shrader

The WRAL NEWS in NC family is shaken to the core. After work yesterday, my co-worker Erin was the victim of hit and run crash that has left her in critical condition. Police are still searching for the suspect. Please send a prayer for her and her family.

HAPPENING NOW: A group of parents are protesting a petition for a vaccine mandate for 17 year-olds. The Commission for Public Health is reviewing it now. It’s likely it won’t be granted. Public health officials are recommending against it. WRAL NEWS in NC

“LET US GO HOME SAFE AND SOUND” Tow truck drivers are calling for stronger enforcement of NC’s ‘Move Over Law.’ This after a woman was killed and a AAA was seriously injured in a hit-and-run on I-540 in Raleigh. WRAL NEWS in NC #wral FULL STORY: wral.com/20122574/

Already seeing a bit of a line building up outside the Durham Main Library. Those in line tell me they are waiting for the mask giveaway to start. It’s happening today only at all Durham libraries. You can get up to 10 per household WRAL NEWS in NC
