Yesterday I attended the Western Uganda Universities debate championship and it was an honor to be crowned as the best female debater of the day. Big ups to the Vice chancellor of Mountains of the moon university, my teammates and everyone else that has seen me through.

In the power of poetry, the pulse of debate, and the passion of public speaking, a new generation of leaders is heard. We witnessed incredible talent, creativity, and collaboration from 8 universities in Western Uganda, championing unity, democracy, and sustainable development.

Just won the Mermaid Award in Sweden. The Mermaid Award is given annually by the Gothenburg Book Fair to a writer who has deeply moved Swedish readers. Making it third award in 2025. 👏🏽

Today is the third day of the Julius Nyerere Leadership Center youth, young women and local council leadership training program at Mountains of the moon university. The past two days have been full of fan, transformative lectures and top notch networking.

Civic engagement with Alliance for National Transformation student leaders at universities in Western Uganda is a pivotal initiative promoting youth involvement in governance, fostering leadership and civic responsibility, and transforming Uganda's political culture KAS Uganda & S.Sudan.

The session was ably facilitated by Ms. Susan Karungi, an alumna of the High School Leadership Development (HLD) Program and now one of our dedicated facilitators.
