As someone who taught stats at Northwestern for years, I see a new, interdisciplinary fascination with randomness. You've been thinking about randomness more than you might realize and I think randomness is a peculiarly, but not exclusively, American fascination. Here's why.

As a quick experiment, I asked for a 1-minute "loopable" video related to Rockstar Games #GTA concepts/missions/tropes discussed online. Having the same frame begin / end a video doesn't mean it "loops" naturally, but this has a nice flow to it. Inside Gaming Twitch GTA Series Videos
