In 2019 I conducted some research in Hackney and Southwark asking residents what they'd most like to transport on cargo bikes. After children (72% of participants) and shopping (25%) - it was pets (4%). Here is a dog in a cargo bike wearing a Christmas jumper (Jan `25)

Glorious day for a quick lunchtime haul - transporting a baby and 120 litres of bark mulch back from Croxted Road Garden Centre (3.6 miles round trip - equivalent to 54% of all car trips). 🚤 Faster than a car. 💸 Cheaper than a car. 🌍 Better than a car.
