@JenStevie1 @mummytiger1 As an adopter I never expected any fairy tale - just to be part of our kids healing and to give their birth mum chance to heal whilst still being in contact with the kids. It’s a delicate balance for us all.

@JenStevie1 Having said that, the trauma and the grief doesn’t go away. We are doing what we can to build a relationship with his birth family but they’ll need a lot of support so I’m worried about whether we can do it in a way that keeps everyone safe.
