It was great to see you all last month for our ram sale – we are very lucky to have you all in our corner. We had 100% clearance with all 150 rams heading to new homes. This year’s top ram went to Yanta Poll Merino Stud in Tumby Bay with Julian Baillie and family.

We don’t like to sit still for long around here, so three days after our annual ram sale was done, we launched straight into two solid weeks of shearing at Karawatha and The Soaks. Team from Kimba Contracting Shearing Services were here which always makes the job go smoothly🐑

We were busy at The Soaks yesterday shearing this year’s sale rams. More than 500 boys made their way across the woolshed boards - we’ll choose the best and brightest to bring to auction on 15 August. It’s a good looking bunch and we’re pretty happy with how they’re coming along.

One of the beauties of farming - the kids, grandparents, and the whole family can work together. There’s not too many industries where it’s possible - we’re pretty grateful to do what we do. When there’s a choccie paddle pop at the end of the job, the kids are grateful too!
