Great to have the Malaysia Olympic Team here in Bangor preparing for Paris. Hosted a BBQ for them and the NCU group. We look forward to seeing them again in February when we go to Kuala Lumpur for training camp.

NCU swimmers doing a little early season cross training at BoulderWorld in Belfast. Good work, good fun, sore bodies:)

Great working with our friend from Italy, Nunzio Lanotte this week evaluating the swimmers velocity from their starts, off their push off from the turns and their deceleration in their glide phase to identify best timing of the 1st dolphin kick for each athlete.

Alana Burns-Atkin turned in a best inseason swim in the 200fly with a 2:14 and a bronze medal.  Also making A finals in Brno, Czechia was Naeve Pountney in the 100bk and Lachey Reed in 100im.  Molly Nulty and Cody Dunnion also made Bfinals tonight with solid swims.

Burn-Atkin gets under the 1 minute mark in the 100fl with a 59.8 on her way to a silver medal in Czechia!

Fun first day at the BUCS Swimming Championships with the NCU squad joined by Daniel Edgar. Swimmers are representing @queenssport @uususport and Liverpool John Moores University. A great battle between the relays tonight! Congrats to Alana Burns-Atkin on her 59.5 100fl 4th!
