After seeing a few cases of eDKA in DM2 patients on SGLT2i prescribed for HF, I wondered if sick day rules might have been helpful. If you’re prescribing SGLT2i (and you should be!!) make sure you know the possible AE and provide pt education, especially for pts with DM2!
