Yesterday, New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador agreed to tear down trade barriers between their provinces. Ontario, P.E.I., and Nova Scotia have all introduced legislation to do the same. My government will remove all federal barriers to internal trade by Canada Day.

The UN World Food Programme just announced that its food stocks in Gaza have run out because of the Israeli Government’s blockade — food cannot be used as a political tool. Palestinian civilians must not bear the consequences of Hamas’ terrorist crimes. The World Food Programme

The attack at the Lapu Lapu festival has left our country shocked, devastated, and heartbroken. To those grieving, to those who were injured, to the Filipino Canadian community, and to everyone in Vancouver: Canada is mourning with you, and we are united behind you.
