I have the strong opinion that when working with #EventStorming, if you aren't always keeping technology at least in the back of your mind, you won't recognize unreasonable discussions that are impractical or impossible to implement in solutions. There must be a balance between

Esoteric navel gazing is a form of waterfall disguised as discovery. Elaborate philosophical discussion proves you don't have the answer, and you're very likely wasting time bike shedding. You're bent on winning the conversation. If there's potentially that much more to

Try to keep up with my #DesignAccelerator tutorials! Are you aware that these two are a matched set? They are basically Parts 1 and 2. I thought it odd that Part 1 has ~100 fewer views than Part 2. Part 1: Events-First Discovery and Modeling—EventStorming to DDD Tactical

Will AI untangle your Big Ball of Mud? 🤔 Can it identify your Bounded Contexts? Can it architect your systems with clarity and purpose? Not yet. But "Implementing Domain-Driven Design" (DDD) will. Learning is essential—but applying that knowledge is what truly transforms

This appears to be Event Sourcing vs. Command Sourcing. Because command handlers (methods/functions) change with reqs, re-running commands through the handlers will yield different states than original states over time. Besides, some command handlers could/should be removed over

It's pretty much the same as the justification for estimates: Trust me. Except in the case of estimates it never works. Besides, it often takes as much or more time to determine estimates than to do the work. Oh, and there come the "change orders." Solution: Tell me what you
