Often when I am in the middle of something difficult I don’t tell many people. And not because I need to pretend everything is perfect when it’s not or because I’m closed off. But because people are very unaware of how disruptive and unhelpful their reactivity and worrying is.

One of the hardest things about vulnerability is that you have to open your heart. Then, you must leave it open, like an empty space in front of you waiting to reveal what the next moment might look like.

You have to love. You have to feel. And when grief overwhelms you, you have to look at the life in the eyes and carry on.

A woman can be completely obsessed with you and then BOOM….she’s detached because you played with her feelings & thought you were bigger than the program

Sometimes, you have to tell people straight up: "Look, I love you & I’ll probably love you forever, but I’m no longer interested in the level of life you have to offer me. And because of that, I have to let you go." It’s not about hate, anger, or bitterness, it’s about growth.

We eventually get over people as time goes by, and it's really nice.
