I understand the principle that correlation does not imply causation. However, I don’t think the person that first advanced this theory ever cut hay with a clear forecast and then had a rain come out of nowhere mysteriously. Dad cuts alfalfa yesterday; it rained overnight.

These are Fronteras; a new variety we planted last minute because of NeoP in the Chandlers we had gotten. I like the size and color. Seems to have a good shelf life. Taste could be better.

Left the farm at 430 to bring these berries to an auction in PA. This auction gets buyers from Philly and as far north as NYC.

Planting eggplant this morning aka the state flower of New Jersey. I have an eggplant random thought. NJ says they grow 66% of the world’s supply. I think this might be because the majority of the world doesn’t call it eggplant but aubergine.

Rainy day in Maryland today so I was able to be at Maryland Farm Bureau in person for our board meeting.
