Yesterday I spoke out against the gambling industry and cruelty of horse racing. These are just a few of the comments I received in return. This is what happens when people of colour speak out on almost any issue.

The @NTEUNational submission to Senate Inquiry puts a headcount figure on #highered casuals at ~100,000. I think this is about right. The 2018 data is wrong due to the UQ data error for permanent staff. This error is going to be an annoying pimple on the HE staff data for years.

Some local University of Newcastle Ourimbah wildlife came in to express interest in our maths lecturer’s office today. Dr Allen’s response? “Well maybe he needs help with his maths. He’s clearly not an adder” 🤦‍♀️

There is so much that is wrong with this that I don’t know where to start!! I am saddened that she is clearly so indoctrinated that even after she was interrupted with his mansplaining, she described this clearly toxic culture as supportive for woman 🤯
