Being on the ground here in Ottawa and watching the occupation unfold, I’m stunned by how multiple public policy failures around regulating tech have come together to contribute to this mess. These include:

just so we are clear. When a province ends a vaccine or mask mandate, it is reversing the onus on the vaxxed vulnerable. It is then they who can't go places and have their freedom restricted because of the risk of mixing with the unvaxxed.

There must be a word for feeling humiliated, bewildered, disappointed, demoralized, flabbergasted, incredulous, scared, disgusted despondent & livid all at the same time. That about captures the complicated ways #Ottawa residents have responded to the last 15 days of occupation.
