ChatGPT (with a bot I aptly call 'The Oracle') has been a neat addition to this project, by automating the validation, taxonomy (Schneier, Rogaway et al.), and cryptanalysis of modernized field ciphers. (Lots of potential to aggregate and analyze a ton of domain knowledge.)

Working on the summer course that will ultimately culminate in Ultimate Feistel Championship '24, modeled after a Cold War-era cipher clerk training school, with inspiration from Elizebeth Friedman, Lambros Callimahos, and the treasured analysis of Stasi records by Jörg Drobick.
