Fundamentalism is not a SET of beliefs, it's a SPIRIT in which we hold our beliefs. One can be a Conservative Fundamentalist or a Progressive Fundamentalist. Fundamentalism knows no bounds.

Signs of Self-righteousness: ● Only saying sorry when you're wrong, & you're hardly wrong ● Your view of Scripture is correct because you've studied ● Your moral failings pale in comparison to others failings ● You zone in on the error in people not the image of God in people

What would happen if Sunday services changed from showing off the talents of a few to showcasing the testimonies of many? Sundays can include teaching and worship. But sadly, many saints overlook their calling to pursue the platforms and “ministry” we show the most honor to.

We don't need people to come back to Church. We need to help them organize for being the Church in their neighborhoods.

Tomorrow, millions will celebrate the Resurrection of Christ. I pray that it is also a day when those called ‘Christ-ian’ will RISE UP to emanate Christ’s love for all people, work for justice & build the Beloved Community. May the Church shift from institution to revolution.
