Lovely evening at the #kennydalglish premiere. Amazing to see all the days I grew up hearing about from justine roberts. Struck me there are parallels between this season and 85/86. Tragedy off the pitch, iconic fullbacks leaving, new players integrating. We know what came next..

Having never seen Kenny play, watching the film I was just amazed how good he was. People always say football in the eighties was agricultural, but he could rival anyone today for technical ability. Shades of Suarez, but more elegant. Also the football we played was sublime!
