Former Longwood OF Emily Vinson is transferring to South Carolina. A Rawlings Gold Glove winner in 2023, Vinson has a career .984 fielding percentage. She also owns a career .235 batting average with 22 stolen bases, 44 RBIs, and 59 runs scored.

Coaching News: Carli Cutler and Jillian Celis are the new assistant coaches at Nevada. Cutler spent the last two years on staff at Saint Joseph's and previously coached at Nicholls & Fresno State. Celis played at San Diego State & Washington, graduating after the 2024 season.

Coaching News: Karl Gollan is the new assistant coach at Iowa. He spent the 2024 season on staff at Ole Miss and was previously the head coach at D3 Augustana College. He spent more than a decade on the New Zealand men's national team and still serves as an adviser.
