Dead excited for the start of the Wigtown Book Festival today and particularly looking forward to talking to Peter Ross about his brilliant book A Tomb With A View on Sunday (2pm). So many great stories to be shared.
"The show will go on!" WigtownBookFestival kicks off with a "symbol of resilience" - a lone piper - leading the way for 10 days of online literary events from Scotland's national book town. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotla…

About to watch Kate Humble s virtual event from this years WigtownBookFestival after binging Country Life for 1/ price...reminder of the madness of leaving Sussex for Scotland 17 years ago!
When all this is over I would love a girls night with Karen Hauer @JManrara - they always seem so upbeat!
Ordered Anton Du Beke s books for mums birthday - imagine my delight when Alexa told me "Anton Du Beke will arrive today"..and the crushing disappointment when it was just the books and they were not delivered in person 😀
Love it when I read a book and it mentions places I know! The Darkest Hour...not only west Sussex (moved from) but Wigtown (moves to!) too!! Barbara Erskine
