Based on our forecast, next Wednesday (September 11th) will be the 101st day Las Vegas is 100° or above. Would break the old record of 100 days set in 1947. 2024's historically hot summer marches on. October 4th, 1977 is the latest in the year we've hit 100°, FWIW.

You may notice a smoky haze the next couple days in Southern Nevada. It can give an orange tinge to sunrise and sunset as light interacts with smoke particles in the atmosphere. That's from distant wildfires in places like Idaho, Oregon, and California.
