80 years ago today, 156,000 Allied Troops landing in France. Sword, Juno & Gold beaches were assigned to the British 2nd Army which included 3rd, 5th British Infantry Div & 3rd Canadian Div. Wilts ACF Companies are named after these landing zones. Sword, Juno and Gold Company

Westbury (Troop) Detachment had a Beret presentation for their newest cadets. Present were their parents and Cdt CSM Dutton-Ward presided over the ceremony, her last duty as Cadet CSM, due to ageing out. We wish her all the best in her future endeavours. Congratulations all

An adventure starts

Well done to Sgt Sophia Parsons, pictured receiving her National Praiseworthy Action certificate from Colonel Rob Guest. Sophia (JUNO Company WILTSHIRE Army Cadet Force, Wiltshire ACF) is recognised for praiseworthy action following a vehicle accident where she applied first aid and reassured a casualty.

Army Gliding Club (Wyvern) This weekend Cadets from Juno Company had the opportunity to embark on a gliding experience provided by the Wyvern Army Gliding Club .

The Great South Run was cancelled this year due to the weather (with dangerous winds coming in from the coast)! However, Major Tim Stokes of Sword Company, Wiltshire ACF, went ahead with his own 10-mile run anyway. All in aid of ACCT UK. What a hero! Thank you Major Tim!

Congratulations to Cdt Sgt Hannah Woolley of Wiltshire ACF, being presented here with a National Meritorious Action certificate for her commendable action. Hannah calmly responded to an emergency situation, putting her first aid training and skills into action. Well done Hannah!👏🏼

Sgt R tonight was presented his RBL Medal following on from his 121 Miles in November fundraising challenge, raising over £151.
