What was happening in EY4 today? Evidence of exploration and fun with friends ICS Addis Ababa.

EY4 ICS Addis Ababa were making a friendship tree. This student clearly ventured off with their own little inquiry.

I have followed Ceci Gomez-Galvez (she.her.ella) for many years. Great to hear her present #ToddleTIES. Multilingual learners deserve to feel a sense of belonging in our classrooms. Great tools and ideas to implement on Monday. Thank you!

Shout out to Chantelle Love for presenting for Toddle #ToddleTIES all the way from ICS Addis Ababa!! Congratulations! 📣

Loved our first staff appreciation day ICS Addis Ababa. Though the food was delicious (and served all day long), I loved the heartfelt thank you from parents. ♥️

Difficult to choose one take away from #ToddleTIES Zaretta Hammond Culturally Responsive Classroom Keynote. So much to think about but I ❤️ the theory of the first pancake. Explanation here: youtube.com/watch?v=U8msVA…

#ToddleTies does it again with a great presentation from Ross M. McGill FCCT Tips were so precise and helpful. I can’t wait to read the recommended research articles. And summaries research in 70 seconds or less!

This PD about Wonder at @toddle_ed #ToddleTIES by Catherine L'Ecuyer was so cathartic. I needed to hear this as a teacher and parent. “It is difficult to displace something that has entered into the heart of a child of zero to four years of age.” Thank you.

We are inquiring into How We Express Ourselves in EY4 ICS Addis Ababa. Students are exploring performing and it looks like we have a budding playwright in our community. #agency #ibpyp #earlyyears

Costume making or sensory play in our EY4 learning space ICS Addis Ababa ? BOTH! Our EY4 artists are getting ready for their learning celebration this week. The excitement is real. 🎉🎉🎊🎊

In my Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) Instructional Coach course: Meira Levinson suggested "we tend to call on certain words like equity and pretend they do all the work..." What is doing the heavy lifting? Use of jargon or engaging in sincere dialogue at various levels of school?

Started this a year ago at a time when I wasn’t sure where to turn. Thank you Kevin Crouch for the suggestion. Highly recommend the course…now…what next?
