In Outdoor Education we are focusing on Orienteering! Depending on the grade level, our students are going to be put to test on their map and compass skills in order to go on scavenger hunts, figure out how to direct one another to the right place with only compass bearings!

The grade 4/5’s started a new language arts unit on adventure stories. To kick off the unit, we explored some KiwiCo Atlas Crates. Each student completed a STEAM activity and learned about a different country. The countries featured in the crates included Mexico, Brazil, Sweden.
