Kicked off this year’s Juneteenth celebrations at the 44th Annual Rose Brook’s Scholarship Cake Auction. It was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces at tonight’s event!

This #Juneteenth, let's come together, celebrate freedom, and continue the fight for racial equality and healing. Today, I was able to join my neighbors at celebrations hosted by the Juneteenth Foundation, Dunbar Heritage Association, Calaboose Museum, and the City of Buda, TX!

A historic week for our hometown university, Texas State University—celebrating 125 years of excellence and Texas State Football becoming bowl eligible AGAIN with a dominant 58-3 win over Southern Miss, capped off with the celebratory river jump.
