Today's news from Croydon is heartbreaking & my prayers are with those impacted. Tonight I've had a 15 yr old in mind, murdered 10+ yrs ago by a boy she rejected. Hers was one of 9 cases that led to Contextual Safeguarding. It's complex, it's not new, & change is long overdue.
