I have lost the ability to talk with people who are disorganized thinkers. It quite literally makes my head explode — not with irritation but with inflammation. Can I ask people to be more articulate as a disability accommodation?

Oh my god. Alem was a true hero in the fight to expose the near-fraud of the PACE trial. I weep to see how much he has deteriorated. One can't say for sure it's because of the effort he expended in the fight, but we do know that severe PEM can cause lasting setbacks.

I rarely talk about the experience of this illness, bc it can sound self-pitying. Those who see it are shocked, but few do, bc we are shut away when we’re at our worst. Even I find it difficult to remember how impaired my really ill friends are, bc they’re so articulate online.

Absolutely ! She could provide unparalleled context for Long Covid, explaining both the science and the history. It’s a bigger story than Covid itself, with roots of infection-associated illness going back centuries.

With fewer than 1/3 of medical school curriculums currently addressing ME/CFS and less than 1/2 of medical textbooks containing information about the disease, it’s undeniable that ME/CFS has slipped through the cracks of our modern medical system. This needs to change in order
