Devil Creek fire is burning right near our field research camping site. My field crew and I are in communication with the FS and they are safe. The prescribed fire the FS is doing will increase forest health and resiliency as illustrated in our prescribed fire research plots.

Amazing to hear such clear statements about the link of climate change to wildfire from my colleague Julie Korb in a press conference today. Snow left & fires and fireweed came early to Colorado this year. Contact:[email protected] for the press release & recording.
