Honored to attend and speak at the launch of the new Shankill Shared Women’s Centre today. It's inspiring to see such a wonderful initiative supporting and empowering women in our community.

I believe we are on course for the lowest electoral #NITurnout in a decade and more here in North Belfast. 2019 68% 2022 61% 2023 51% (caution on accuracy) 2024?? At this rate, I'm predicting 46-49%

I joined Ulster Unionist Party in my teens, worked with Danny Kinahan, Dr Steve Aiken OBE, the people of Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council as Cllr & with Doug Beattie while running for the Assembly. I've stepped back since moving to Norwich, but Doug's resignation has really made me think - after 15 years I'm stepping away

Magnanimous. Even in this moment. A measure of the man. I, however, am not as forgiving. Whilst I hold a number of individuals in very high esteem, my support for the Ulster Unionst Party ends here with Dougs leadership.

Though Mike will pick up where Doug left off, my enthusiasm for his leadership is marred by the manner in which it has come about. Root and branch reform is a must if the party is to survive the next decade.
