We are supporting a gent in his 90's British Red Cross Chester. He insisted we had some apples from his tree, but they were still on the tree which is about 20ft high. My colleague and I managed to get 2 apples each using a big stick, much to the amusement of the service user. Made his day 😊

After the 2nd night shift volunteering, supporting refugees coming into the country, this one is slacking 😉. Seriously, its been an honour to get the opportunity to offer practical and emotional support to people in crisis. Met some amazing courageous refugees 🙏 BRC Cheshire & Greater Manchester ER

Great work today British Red Cross Chester coming to the aid of a family who had a day trip planned at Chester Zoo with their terminally ill father. On arrival they discovered a scooter hadn't been reserved for him ☹️. The Chester team stepped up and lent them their wheelchair for the day. 👍
