Holy moly: what a difference a year makes in Canadian politics. One year ago today, Justin Trudeau's Liberals were thrust into an unmitigated downward spiral in public opinion lagging Pierre Poilievre's Conservatives by a staggering 20+ points. Even worse, in the wee hours of

I need everyone to visit the Clarkson GO to see the parking garage that holds 1573 cars. Ford's Conservatives are going to build a *3500 car garage* on the waterfront for $400 million (your tax dollars). That's certainly a choice. #onpoli

Doug Ford is taking us backwards on climate. Just months into his term, his government already expects to blow past its own pollution targets. The plan was never enough and they knew it. As wildfires rage, Ford’s pouring fuel on the flames. Ontarians are paying the price.

Thinking back to a year ago the number of Conservatives weighing in on the significance of the Liberal loss in the St Paul’s byelection who now seem to think the loss of the Leader’s seat during an election is somehow not significant.

Where's the mayor? Where are the TTC commissioners? Where is any semblance of leadership? "Staff recommend" Yeah I'm sure they do and I'm sure they also would prefer everyone just drive everywhere because it would be a lot simpler for them.

There's absolutely no reason municipal speed cameras can't be on a telephone pole the way red light cameras are and its astonishing that the city is fine with them getting spray painted or cut down once a month

When we protect our environment and our water, we protect what makes Canada strong. The Great Lakes are integral to our environment, our economy, and our way of life. That’s why we’re investing $9.3M in 26 community-led projects to restore and protect the Great Lakes.

When we protect and restore our environment, we build stronger communities. Biidaasige Park here in Toronto represents the future we can build together β€” one that is more connected, green, inclusive, and resilient.

I visited the park last night. It’s incredible. The most important public space to open in Toronto this century. theglobeandmail.com/opinion/articl…

CN Rail will end its lease for BC Rail's Sea to Sky railway segment between Squamish and 100 Mile House. Local federal and provincial officials call this a historic opportunity to start rail public transit services to Whistler. #bcpoli #vanpoli #vanre dailyhive.com/vancouver/cn-r…

Biidasiige Park! What a triumph! and, what an antidote to the relentless unfounded negativity from some quarters, re: Toronto. We really can create big, awesome things, if we have the political will.

Huge win for transit riders and a better city. Congrats to all involved on making this happen. It’s time to give the 509 Harbourfront, 510 Spadina, 511 Bathurst, and 512 St Clair streetcar routes 600-series designations to highlight that they have transit-only lanes. #topoli
