The last thing I should’ve had to worry about with my pounding head and nausea was making certain my n95 mask never slipped an inch- bc there was zero airborne infection control and I was put in a bed 2 feet from a guy w a positive strep test and possible Covid

Stepping into a hospital right now, knowing what I now know about airborne spread, gives me the same feeling as opening up a 19th century novel and seeing the leeches come out. It’s stunning that basic science is being ignored
