"The truth is, this bill is an absolute shambles, it's immoral, it's being rewritten on the fly. Policies affecting millions and millions of disabled lives are being made up as we go within this chamber in the last couple of hours". - Ian Byrne MP (Lab) #WelfareBill

Jules Powis (@julespowis) 's Twitter Profile Photo

It's obvious the bill must be pulled, no idea why ministers are clinging on. It's perfectly ok to say, "we're going to consult more before we proceed." #WelfareBill

Starmer still not answering questions, still trying to shift blame to a party that hasn't been in power for a year. #pmqs

Jules Powis (@julespowis) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Rachel Reeves is facing an impossible situation because of Starmer's incompetence. It's not fair on her or the country. Britain leads proper leadership, not this shambles. #PMQs

Jules Powis (@julespowis) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Starmer's going to sack Reeves to try and save his premiership isn't he? Pinning the blame on everybody else appears to be the Keir playbook, sadly. #pmqs

Jules Powis (@julespowis) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Watching Rachel Reeves, a serving chancellor, crying at PMQs was one of the worst things I've seen in the Commons. Reeves isn't to blame, yesterday's vote was a result of poor leadership by Keir Starmer. He needs to take responsibility and not shift the blame.

The very first AI images were these weird, dreamlike hallucinations. This AI video also has a dreamlike quality, but the evolution to this standard in just a few short years is incredible. The fact that it was posted as a real video too.

Spitting Image is back! A new series of short-form vodcast episodes 'The Rest Is Bullshit', produced by Avalon. The title parodies Gary Lineker’s Goalhanger family of podcasts, The Rest Is History, The Rest Is Politics, etc. It looks pretty good so far. youtu.be/sFcmjqIRjb4?si…

Come and see the darker side of rivers. Every single dive session i undertake in England's rivers results in filming pollution now. In some cases i film more pollution related footage than fish. Join myself and many inspiring people at Morden hall, 8th July 2025

South West Water won't pay £24m fine for sewage dumping. Instead will invest £20m to reduce dumping, £2m in sewer repairs, £2m in environmental improvements, which it should do anyway. The deal boosts its balance sheet. There is no penalty for abuses. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
