Brilliant service on London North Eastern Railway train from Aberdeen to Newcastle just now, crazy busy, some very rude customers, some over tired children, some over excited children, and very patient staff dealing with it all.

I have 2 pairs of reading glasses, the other day I lost one. Searched the house, emptied my handbag, my work bag, and my car with no luck. Went and ordered a replacement pair today. First shop after ordering them I took my purse out my bag, and the glass fell at my feet.

We're away to visit our daughter. She's bought her first property. We're taking her this gift basket full of practical stuff. I've hidden several gift cards in envelopes in the bottom with titles like "for when you want a treat but can't afford it" and "sod the cooking "

These are all from one tree. I picked the two 5ltr bowls in the morning. When hubby saw them, he exclaimed we'd had a bumper crop. I told him there were more to pick, and he laughed at me, taking out the washing basket! I gave some away before taking the photo. Recipe ideas?
