I think about this differently: IMO being curious and having insight on the layers of the stack below your work is a good engineering trait that leads to better code. Similarly, every software engineer should have a good idea of how hardware works even if they don’t design it.

Although you don't have to create a main method in Quarkus, if you do, starting with version 3.5 you can use the simplified main method declaration, even if you don't use Java 21! See github.com/quarkusio/quar… for more details.
