Good morning, South Africa. I had a productive meeting with my counterpart in China, Minister Han Jun. We agreed to boost exports, enhance biosecurity, and relaunch an agricultural science student exchange program. 🇿🇦🇨🇳

Trade with China is essential because it opens up more opportunities to expand the horizon for South African dairy products. When we grow the market for South African products, we grow jobs at home. GNU at work! 🇿🇦🇨🇳

South Africa exports 180,000 tonnes of citrus to China annually, our biggest citrus export market. It’s a great honour to meet Justin Chadwick, CEO of the Citrus Grower’s Association, to increase the number of citrus exports exponentially. This is the GNU in action! 🔥
