First successful day of TLS training at our 3DForEcoTech COST Action summer school in Helsinki. More TLS & mobile scanning tomorrow! Great to see this coming together after months of planning with Ninni Saarinen (bummer it's a virtual presence for me cus of covid)

Beautiful day in Helsinki for learning how to use terrestrial laser scanning to measure forests 3DForEcoTech summer school. Lots of potential for early detection of #waterstress and #treemortality

Last day of 3DForEcoTech Helsinki summer school - photogrammetry methods and a bit more TLS processing. Sadly had to leave before Martin Mokros ๐ณ ๐ท ๐ธ๐ฐ ๐ฌ๐ง iphone lidar / photogrammetry demo - but it's been great with fantastic group of participants!

This 3DForEcoTech Summer School about terrestrial #LiDAR definitely was one of my best experiences as a PhD!! We acquired 3D data and analysed it right away: SO powerful ๐คฏ Thanks to all organizers & teachers Ninni Saarinen Kim Calders Martin Mokros ๐ณ ๐ท ๐ธ๐ฐ ๐ฌ๐ง Rachel Gaulton Louise Terryn...

I am very happy that my first paper (doi.org/10.1002/vzj2.2โฆ) has been published in Vadose Zone Journal about Monitoring spatiotemporal soil moisture variability in the unsaturated zone of a mixed forest using electrical resistivity tomography. #VZJ #forestsoil #laserscanning #ERT

Thanks a lot, Louise Terryn!!
