Anyone else finding it a bit challenging to focus on grant writing in the lead up to a toss-up election w/one side planning to decimate federally-funded science as (not even close to the worst) part of their explicitly fascist regime?

On a much brighter note, I cannot recommend enough the joys of giving out big candy bars at Halloween! The kids’ faces are incredible! Not to mention cohabitating with the two cutest skeletons 💀🎃🖤🧡

It’s disappointing to hear people opine that pronoun etiquette (“wokeness”) is the cause of democrats’ problems. Trans kids attempt suicide at a rate of nearly 50%. Pronoun etiquette is an easy way to show people that we see them as a human being above all.

Interestingly, it's probably *closer* to how SSRIs work for #PMDD, given that when they work (~60% of patients), they beat placebo by 24 hrs. Pts usually report they feel better within an hour. Underlying mechanisms of PMDD are more complex, but ⬆️ serotonin seems to help.
