Had a great time at MathPsych 2024 Tilburg! I hosted the Dynamic Structural Equation Model symposium with @JessicaVSchaaf, with fantastic presentations of Michael Aristodemou, @rogierK, and Sophie Berkhout. I presented on DSEM estimate stability, which is looking good! #iccmpsyched

In the paper, Andrew R. A. Conway, Ph.D., Kristof Kovacs, Jean-Paul Snijder, and I present a simulation framework based on Process Overlap Theory, illustrating this unified approach to understanding individual differences in cognitive abilities, bridging psychometric and cognitive perspectives!

Proud of the Psychometric Society having the courage to transition Psychometrika to Open Access. Practically all APCs are covered by TAs (see bit.ly/3NiAy6T) and for authors not covered will be waived! Support open science, send your best work to bit.ly/4eXTvYp

My friend just said this: "It's better to be nervous in the right room, than calm in the wrong one" - Anna B. I really liked it! I check for similar existing sayings, but couldn't find anything.

I love that my phones’ Dutch language keyboard/checker is also absolutely fine with English words, whereas the German auto correct the English words quite often
