Absolutely nothing wrong with this. I went to a school that was lawless at times. If staff practiced this with students, it would have been safer.

While well meaning, this is often unhelpful. Autistic chn and those with ADHD donโ€™t always fit into those circles which can become a barrier to diagnosis, support, wellbeing.

Too many folks on here are quick to pick fault, condemn an approach and attack people they don't know and assume they know better. Think we all need to pause and ask do we need to add that comment. I'm sure at times I too have been guilty but try to be positive more than -.

Pupil voice. I once got told โ€œbehaviour was really badโ€ in my class because I was on top of it, highlighting it and actually managing it. Headteacher joked, โ€œthe children will tell you everything,โ€ Yes, theyโ€™ll tell you what they think you want to hear in most cases.
