An insightful op-ed by Maia Szalavitz calling for evidence-based treatment for addiction, which is the cornerstone of our delivery model at journeycolab, and highlighting the potential of psychedelic drugs in aiding recovery. #psychedelics #addiction nytimes.com/2023/03/11/opi…

Now that the #SVB dust is starting to settle, I'd like to take a moment to express my appreciation for those who helped us journeycolab navigate through the events of the past week. I’m so grateful to have an investor like Sam Altman who stepped up in a crunch, no questions asked.

Our partnership with All Points North address a key question as Sam Altman puts it “I don’t think anyone has yet figured out what the business of psychedelic medicine will look like..my hope is that Journey, with this new approach, will figure out something that actually works.”

There’s been a lot of noise & conjecture around Sam Altman and his achievements, particularly lately, but one thing I know to be true is his unwavering support for founders & his strong commitment to fostering their growth & success. Thankful to have him as a journeycolab supporter.

The work we're doing today at journeycolab is only possible because of pioneers like Roland Griffiths who paved the way for us. Thank you, Roland. Johns Hopkins Psychedelic Research Center nytimes.com/interactive/20…

Our perspective at journeycolab has always been that the need for trained therapists in the delivery of psychedelic treatments is and will continue to be essential.

Despite some efforts in the #psychedelics space to develop therapies without therapists, our model at journeycolab is one where psychedelic treatments only work in the context of trained teams in professional settings.

This National Geographic piece emphasizes the importance of such an approach. In a time of widespread job #layoffs, here's a promising job opportunity that you can't outsource or automate.

Kudos to Dr. Bronner's for their work with MAPS and supporting psychedelics while promoting #MultistakeholderCapitalism. At journeycolab, we share this vision and involve treatment centers like All Points North as stakeholders, along with our Reciprocity Trust. rollingstone.com/culture/cultur…

Dr. Roland Griffiths and his wife, Marla, sat down with Dr. Manish Agrawal Sunstone Therapies where they discussed Dr. Griffiths cancer diagnosis, psychedelics for cancer patients, the Roland Griffiths endowed professorship, the future of psychedelics, & more! sunstonetherapies.com/n-interview/in…

Dr. Jeeshan Chowdhury MD DPhil is working to bring the ancient ideas of medicine to the current day. journeycolab is cultivating a synthetic form of mescaline to use in combination with modern psychotherapy to help fight addiction and perhaps other disorders. newsweek.com/2023/06/30/mag…

We're excited to share that our Founder & CEO Jeeshan Chowdhury MD DPhil will be speaking at the MAPS Psychedelic Science conference next week in Denver! Join Jeeshan Chowdhury MD DPhil on Thursday, June 22nd from 5:15-5:45 PM for "Building reciprocity in psychedelic companies."

Substance abuse knows no bounds. Anyone can be affected, even Silicon Valley. Traditional treatments don't work for this population - that's why journeycolab and All Points North are collaborating on a first-of-its-kind study of psychedelic treatment for AUD in a real-world setting.
