New issue! We mark #EarthDay (4/22) with an article by Hannah Pallubinsky (and a beautiful cover art from Alisa Singer) discussing the effects of heat on human health.
Plus articles on nucleoside metabolism, liver disease, breast cancer and more!

March milestones:
✅ Finished my 1st year of PhD.
⭐️ I had the honour to give a short talk about new approaches to identifying new #mitochondrialdisease genes during the #MitoMed24 conference at Hinxton Hall Conference Centre, Cambridge (UK).

Delighted to share new study by Tslil Ast now Weizmann Institute w/ Y. Itoh, D. Suess, Alexey Amunts showing (1) the Fe-S proteome is destabilized w/frataxin loss, (2) mitoribosome assembly factor METTL17 harbors a 4Fe-4S cluster, serving as an Fe-S checkpoint for mito translation.
