R-TYPEのドット絵はドット絵エディターではなく、概ね紙で描いてました。 まず紙に絵を描き、その上にトレーシングペーパーの方眼紙を重ねます。 下に敷いた絵をなぞりつつ方眼紙の升目に沿ってドット化していきます。 ドット化ができたら方眼紙をコピーして15色の色鉛筆で彩色してできあがり。
