A reminder to ICs on product teams to remain committed to understanding their company's objectives - from Matt LeMay Doesn't Live Here Any More: "Push upward for clarity around company strategy and vision, no matter how challenging it is. In the absence of this clarity, you cannot succeed."

Does anyone know of a product company that has integrated and mastered a product discovery process all on their own, without outside help? I would like to find out how they did it and what it took to do it. Please share if you have any idea!

Kindergarteners would make great product people. They'd intrinsically challenge every feature request from management by asking 5 times "why".
