I hate explaining things to people who are waiting for you to say something they disagree with so they can jump in and nitpick instead of taking the essence of what you're saying, asking themselves what would have to be true for them to agree, and then saying assuming X, I agree

i'm gonna say this and i'm gonna sound like a hater (i'm not, i respect it and would do the same) if you (e.g. Hormozi) write a book and you "sell" it by selling the book PLUS a bunch of other stuff and then "break the record" for book sales it shouldn't count lol

arguments should have small talk first you talk with the intention of agreeing on the facts then you agree on what the actual problem is then given the problem, y'all talk to agree on what the actual solution is by that point, no argument It's all small talk all the way down

actually i'd add feelings to the beginning of this > how do we all feel? > bad? ok that prompts a discussion. what does everyone think happened? let's agree on the facts > now let's agree on the problem > now let's agree on the solution there, a recipe to solve any argument
